Here's inside scoop from Oliver Grigsby himself (graphic novel/episode writer of Heroes). From my previous blog post, he says that he will try to answer all of our questions in the Rebellion arc (click here to view the latest graphic novel) in 9th Wonders so here they are.
Here are some of the question answered by Oliver Grigsby (in italics) :
Rebel asks these 3 questions
1) Are we going to see Monica "St. Joan" again?
Micah is looking for Monica, so he sure hopes to see her again.
2) If Nana and her other grandson are being held, wouldn't that cause a problem for Nathan wouldn't the President object to holding non-Special family members?
I think that would be of concern to Nathan and the President. Unfortunately Danko isn't the most scrupulous man and may not be telling Nathan everything. He could also be playing the "genealogy card" and claiming that someone like Damon is a likely candidate to manifest because of his family history and not worth the risk.
3) Will Claude be joining them?
Claude is currently MIA. I'm sure Abigail is eager to find out what happened to him. I'll also take this opportunity to state that no one has said she's Claude's daughter. It's a possibility for sure, but not the only possibility
Albion1919 asks "Well you know I want to learn what Maya's fate is. She was in contact with Rebel. Then what happened?"
I think Maya is just someone he helped escape. At the moment, there aren't plans to see her in Rebellion.
TimeTravelJosh: How does the earlier graphic novel Libertad fit in with this arc?
Libertad was just another name Rebel was using. In the timeline I think it takes place roughly around the same time as "Family". Those who've been reading the iStory know that Rebel had his hand in a lot of pots. Some specials he simply helped escape/go into hiding, others he formed into teams to fight back.
Raekon's questions:
1) Will we see maya, the flight girl and the crawling guy from the GN again and find out what happened to them?
It's unlikely we'll see them in the Rebellion arc.
2) I'm sure that they will at least let us know about monica a bit but how high are the chances she survives or returns to the show next season?
See above.
3) Are there ANY chances we will see sparrow, west, abigail, lee in the show or are the chances rather high that they will be wiped like every other group in the GNs so far?
I don't think we'll see them on the show. But I also doubt they'll be wiped out. (But this is just me speculating, anything can happen).
4) You wrote "cold summers", is this a hint that tracy will be seen in the series in a active manner that shows what she did between her "death" and her later reappearance?
"Cold summers" was just a reference to the fact that the show isn't airing and the Graphic Novels aren't as frequent.
5) Is there a chance we will be seeing luke, alice, rachel or other "smaller" characters from the show in this novels?
There is a chance.
felix777 asks,
1) Will we see Molly again?
Maybe.
2) In your opinion why did Sylar-Nathan's revealation that he is special shut down the "Special hunting" Operation? Wouldn't Nathan be thrown into a cell just like with the others?
Danko would have thrown Nathan in a cell, but in talking to the Chief of Staff (and presumably the President), Nathan was able to help them see reason. Especially in light of the human rights abuses that had taken place.
3) What struck me about the "Fugutives" was how easily "Specials" seemed to be captured. Considering the formidable nature of some of them (Ana, Sparrow), a number of them working together could level a small army. Were the "Specials" just natuarlly reluctant to use their powers to maximum effect for fear of killing someone?
In "Fall of a Sparrow" Sparrow mentions that when she's in a city it's much harder to use her ability. Danko's team was also very well prepared, catching people before they had a chance to fight back or even think about using their ability. I agree that some of them working together could level a small army, it's the coming together part that's difficult, and in part what a "Rebellion" is all about
Rebel added another question: Does this mean will be seeing West again in the TV series?
It's unlikely.
juba's a bit confusing question
Do you have like a licence to trash and are free to choose how? It looked like Flint was given up (I dont regret, but I would not like to see a waste as in the end of last summer...)
I'm not sure I fully understand the question, but we're generally able to do what we like with these secondary characters. That said, I don't want to see everyone die, either.
raissad asks about Micah and HRG:
Will we see HRG and Micah interact in the summer GNs to make up for the fact that their plot line was cut for time?
Possibly, we will be exploring what happened to Micah during that time period but I can't say exactly what happened.
mrmichaelt is concern about the other characters shown in GN:
Will there be a story that focuses on Abigail and would it tie into how she, Lee, and Claude ended up together (filling between when we last saw Claude on Volume One of the show and when Elle met them in the Volume Three graphic novel)?
There aren't any plans currently but it's definitely been something that's been bouncing around in my head for a while. Claude is a tricky character to deal with in the graphic novels as we always hold out hope that we can bring him back into the show at some point and need to leave ourselves open to possibilities.
Rebel asks another question:
Which comes first, the character you want to focus on in a GN or the story (theme, plot, idea) you want to tell?
Usually the idea for the story (theme, plot, idea).
Juba has another question:
Are you no more allowed to post the script of the GN's? I always appreciated those...
That's a good idea. I'll look into seeing if we can do that. Where have you seen the scripts previously?

That's about it for this week. Stay tuned next week for the latest Graphic Novel (Part 4 of Rebellion entitled Left Behind).
P.S. You can post your questions regarding Rebellion arc at 9th Wonders Forum. Oliver Grigsby will try to answer them all every Mondays/Tuesdays.
