Shocking news from BuddyTV.com. Bryan Fuller, the man who was supposed to save the troubled series, has decided to leave the NBC show once again, consequently vacating his post as consulting producer.
His departure has to do with time constraints and his upcoming projects and not because of creative differences with Heroes creator Tim Kring.
Based on past interviews, Fuller seemed very excited about the upcoming fourth season of Heroes. "Development was really starting to heat up, and it appears like I may be writing multiple pilots for NBC so that wasn't leaving a ton of room for Heroes, unfortunately," In an interwiew with Ain't It Cool News, he said "We crafted some really great arcs for the season that I'm excited to see come to fruition. I love that cast dearly and am sad to go, but the plate -- she was over-flowing."
Fuller left the show towards the end of its first season to create Pushing Daisies. Then returned to Heroes as a consulting producer near the end of last season after ABC canceled Pushing Daisies.
He has worked on some of the best Heroes episodes, including "Company Man" and "Cold Snap." Also, he is credited for Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
This is once again a huge loss for Heroes. But I hope this won't affect next season's show ratings. What do you think?

He was Heroes last hope in rating increase, but anyways hereos is gr8, hopefully the dumass ratings sorts itself out next season so hereos can come back with a season 5
Nooo! And here I was, thinking Heroes might actually have a chance... Oh well. I can't wait to see his future projects. Pushing Daisies was amazing, and "Cold Snap" was pure genius.
ehh... I think they will pull through, by now they probally have a grip on what was wrong with "villains" and the first part of "fugitives". We'll probally have less stand-alone outstanding episodes, but overall I have a feeling it will be awesome.
yeah i'm hoping that it would still be awesome. I mean, i've been a viewer since season 1. Season 2 has low ratings but i don't care. i still love heroes whether fuller is part of it or not.
But i have to say that company man and cold snap were great episodes
um, hate to break it to you fans, but heroes has lost its touch. I loved heroes in season 1, I was skeptical to watch it at first, but when I started to watch it, I couldnt stop, everything in the show meshed together perfectly and was amazing. But please, heroes in the last seasons has been poor. poor storytelling, unrealistic character decisions they each make, one season a virus, then blood that revives everything, then a vaccine that gives powers, then an eclipse that takes away powers, gives them back with no explanation, this show is just about over. The only way they can fix it is kill MANY or ALL of teh characters and start new, that was tim krings original plan, lets do it, or get rid of heroes.
Disagree, Heroes has gotten back to home base in my opinion, the last half of season three was really good. Also, why do you say "Break it to you" like we can't decide whether we like the show for ourselves?
