More Heroes Redemption Updates

Whew. What a week for Heroes. A lot of news happened in Heroes universe for the past couple of days.

By the way, most of the news I got comes from heroeswiki so better check that site for more heroes updates.

First. Quin and Reed Baron, the actors that portrayed the role of Matt Parkman Jr, will be back. Earlier this year, the father of the twins, reported difficulties to set up an schedule for his sons due to a family vacation to Jamaica. He also stated that he was not canceling his trip and that NBC and Heroes may recast or replace the young actors. Read more. This news is in accordance with the story plot that Matt Parkman. Sources say that Matt will be starting a family again and he will be seeking redemption for the actions he did last season.

Second. Greg Grunberg confirmed on his twitter account last June 24th that he and Zachary Quinto were filming scenes together. His twitter message was
"Getting ready to go in and beat up on Sylar. I love working with Zach. Always brings his 'A' game!! But no match for Parkman...".

Third. Season 4 filming update. A news article in ODI says that a source from the set claims that in the first episode that Claire will find a dead body. Here is the description of the scene that was scheduled to be filmed: "Claire discovers a body on the sidewalk." This confirms the statement made by Tim Kring in Heroes All Access that there will be suicide that will happen in the campus.

And lastly, ODI said that it is already confirmed that Season 4 Episode 3 title would be "Acceptance".

Okay that's it for now. Feel free to drop a comment. Until next post.

Heroes Season 4 : News from Twitter

Here's a bunch of Heroes news coming from Twitter.

First, according to @HeroesARG, Heroes Magazine Issue # 10 is now available. For more details please click this link. This issue contains Adrian Pasdar, Masi Oka and Bryan Fuller exclusive interviews.

Second, Oliver Grigsby informs us that the filming of Season 4 Episode 1 will start next week. This is also confirmed by James Kyson Lee.

Third, another twitter post from Grigsby saying that Part 5, 6 and 7 of Rebellion Graphic Novels will have 8 pages each. For graphic novel release dates click here.

And lastly, Greg Grunberg reveals that Robert Knepper will be part of Heroes cast next Season. Knepper will be the Carnival Barker named Samuel. He is known as T-bag in Prison Break.

He said that Robert Knepper would be no match against his mind reading ability. This means that Knepper would be a villain next season.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Samuel is a Jim Jones type -- charismatic but evil, with a twisted sense of humor -- who will veer into the lives of all heroes.

I hope that this will add more viewers to the show every Monday night.

What do you think?

Twitter jeopardizes Foz McDermott’s job

This post is a continuation of my previous post regarding the Season 4 teaser image I obtained in Twitter. (If you don't know what am I talking about, click here. Please be warned that the link contains spoilers of the next season).

I got this news from NextOnHeroes.

Twitter, the popular social networking site, has among its members, people from the entertainment industry. Part of the Heroes cast and crew use Twitter to connect and interact with avid fans around the world. However, its misuse has caused trouble and created lines between Heroes fans.

Foz McDermott, known in the twitterverse as @TheMightyFoz, is an assistant to the executive producers of Heroes and the talent coordinator of show. He has penned a few graphic novels and is a co-producer of the BBC’s Heroes: Unmasked.

The site SpoilerTV and other affiliated sites (DarkUFO, theODI) posted on May 31st a picture of what appears to be the first episode’s script. SpoilerTV examined the picture and found a few details and spoilers about the first episode of Volume 5: Redemption. They cited TheMightyFoz as the source of the information. Later in the day, SpoilerTV updated his blog and added a similar picture and credited @Wendilynnmakeup (Heroes’ make up artist).

However, on Monday June 1st, Foz McDermott’s denied these claims and informed to his followers on Twitter that he was going to leave the social networking site for the immense trouble it caused him. He repeatedly twitted message to have the information taken down and his name removed.

Several other sites that reposted the information (9th Wonders, IMDB, The ODI and others) deleted the offending material as soon as they had contact with @TheMightyFoz. However, SpoilerTV kept the picture and credited Foz McDermott’s twitter account as the source of the picture. Naturally, Foz McDermott was very offended and exchanged strong words with @SpoilerTV via Twitter.

Foz McDermott twitted that his account was hacked and NBC IT was investigating how the information was leaked. As a response, SpoilerTV updated his site with information from Tweleted (a service that helps you retrieve deleted twits) and the photo’s metadata proving the picture was taken with a Blackberry 8330 on May 29th, 2009 at 5:52pm. The issue remains unsolved and neither of the parties involved is ready to concede.

What are your thoughts. Post a comment below.
