An Interview with Jimmy Jean-Louis The Haitian

LotsofInterviews.com conducted an interview with Jimmy Jean-Louis who plays The Haitian in Heroes. Read some of the questions asked as well as his answers.

Do you know why your character wasn’t in the last volume of Heroes?

Why wasn’t he there? Maybe they didn’t need him to be there. It’s always difficult to explain the gaps. As you know by now the Haitian comes back and disappears and then comes back and disappears but when he comes back it’s always for a very important reason, so I believe that if the writers can’t find a good reason to bring him back, they don’t bring him back, so that’s probably why they just let him be because as you know his powers are just so strong that they can not really be in play all the time, unfortunately for me.

Have you shot any scenes with the new cast members?

I’ve shot some scenes with Gretchen, Madeline Zima, but I haven’t shot anything with Robert Knepper yet.

Can you tell us anything else about your character in the next season?

You are finally going to find out what his name is and the other cast members will be calling me by my name, and you will hear it in the first half of the season.

What would you like to see your character do more of?

I would like to explore him a little bit more, I would like people to know what he’s up to when he’s not with Mr Bennet, when he’s not there to erase somebody’s memories, I would like him to have a personal life. And I know we did explore some of that when we went to Haiti but we haven’t looked at his life in America, we don’t know what he’s up to. You don’t know if he has kids, has a wife or a girlfriend, we don’t know what he does when he’s not working for the company. I would love the audience to know a little bit about him. But is that going to happen? I don’t know but that’s the direction I would like him to go because even though he’s very powerful, he’s very mysterious I think that he must be a pretty cool dude as well to bring that element.

Are you happy to be back working on the show?

Oh I’m very excited to still be part of the show. It’s been four seasons and when I first started working on the show I thought I was going to be there for half a season so four years later I’m still part of it so yeah it’s great. And the show is still a very good show, the ratings might be a bit less over here but the quality of the show still remains very good, it’s still one of the top shows, so for an actor to be in a show like Heroes it’s easy and it’s not easy to be part of any TV show. And you know down the line the show will stay in people’s
minds, will be in the history of television just because it brought something new to TV.

To read more of this interview check out this link. We're glad to know that at the end of this season we'll know the Haitian's name.

Charlie Andrews is Back

Remember the love interest of Hiro Nakamura in Season 1? The girl with incredible memory? Well, she's back in Heroes Season 4 Redemption.

Jayma Mays will reprise her role of Charlie, Hiro’s ill-fated love interest. As the dying time-traveler zips back and forth through the ages to accomplish his bucket list. Well, isn’t it safe to assume that saving his almost-sweetheart would be pretty high on the list? What do you think?

Sources say that Jayma will appear in one episode of Heroes. Hope there's more.

What do you think? Feel free to discuss it below.

Ernie Hudson Joins Heroes

Ernie Hudson the actor who portrayed as police detective in most of his projects like Desperate Housewives and 10-8: Officers on Duty has joined Heroes cast. This was revealed in AccidentalSexiness.com. He will be portraying the role of Captain Lubbock, a Baltimore Detective.

Captain Lubbock will be most likely on the hunt for one of the characters on Heroes. No details yet about his episode appearance but the role will recur.

Here's a brief summary of Ernie Hudson. Ernie Hudson received his training at Wayne State, Yale School of Drama and the University of Minnesota. Following a hitch with the Marines, Hudson appeared in such stage productions as The Great White Hope, The Cage and Daddy Goodness. He made his earlier film appearance in 1976's Leadbelly. Most of us know Hudson best as Winston Zeddmore in the two Ghostbusters films, a role he repeated in Ray Parker Jr.'s "Ghostbusters" music video. His best--and most controversial--screen assignment was the The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992); Hudson played retarded handyman Solomon, virtually the only character in the film who doesn't buy into the "perfect" facade of homicidal baby-sitter Rebecca DeMornay. On TV, Ernie Hudson has been seen as Smythe in Highcliffe Manor (1977), undercover officer "Night Train" Lane in The Last Precinct (1986), and kleptomaniac cop Toby Baker in Broken Badges (1990). The role might not have actual lines but he will be featured and paid sag scale. Please take note that any previous experience with a cello or viola is required.

He will be a co-star in the fourth episode of Heroes Season 4.

Perhaps this cellist might be part of the so called carnival company. What do you think?

Heroes Character Update and More

According to wikipedia, model and actress Dawn Olivieri will be the newest addition to the cast of Heroes. According to casting calls she will play a character called Lydia. Dawn is a lead in the Sci-Fi Channel Movie HYDRA, and she is the voice of "Pepper Potts" in the new AVENGERS animated series. She appeared as well in various television shows like My Boys (TBS), Knight Rider (NBC), Trust Me (TNT), Stargate:Atlantis and How I Met Your Mother.

Most likely she will play the part of “Tattoo girl” who is described as a 22-28 female who works at the carnival, a little gullible, follows others’ lead. She has a mysterious side and is very sexy.

Another Heroes character update. I don't know if this is good news or bad news for Heroes fans. One original Heroes cast member will be leaving the show for good before the end of the coming Season. This is a news coming from the recent spoiler chat with Kristin.
Tina in Australia: Anything new on Heroes?
We're increasingly certain that a beloved, original castmember is leaving Heroes for good before the end of the coming season.
I wonder who will leave Heroes? Adrian Pasdar? Zachary Quinto?

Any thoughts?

Rachel Melvin Moves to Heroes

Days after "Californication" co-star Madeline Zima was cast to play Claire Bennet's (Hayden Panettiere) college roommate Gretchen in a multiepisode arc, Claire got herself yet another roommate.

Days of our Lives star Rachel Melvin will be part of Heroes Season 4 : Redemption. She will play the role of Annie, Claire's second roommate. You won't be surprised with her name if you seen the picture from previous post (Heroes Season 4 Episode 1 Teaser from themightyfoz).

Melvin, who left "Days of Our Lives" in March after four years, recently earned her second Daytime Emmy nomination for her role as Chelsea Brady on the daytime drama.

She has been tapped to guest star and potentially recur next season. She will be sharing sleeping quarters (and maybe more) with Claire. Is this the Lesbian character
Joe Pokaski and Aron Coliete mentioned during the interview with Comic Book Review? Very intriguing.
